The hotel is definitely not worth the money, with rooms in urgent need of renovation and poor cleanliness standards alongside disturbing noise.
Rooms
5.0
The rooms could use a bit of renovation with a paint job and better lighting. They weren't cleaned properly, with cobwebs everywhere, cockroaches, mosquitos, mold on the ceiling and walls.
Service
5.0
The staff are very friendly but seem more focused on the restaurants on the property rather than basic courtesy.
Location
7.0
The best feature is the proximity to popular nightlife spots and restaurants, making it an ideal weekend getaway in the heart of Victoria Island. However, the noise from the club at night playing loud music until 2 am can be disturbing.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience is miserable, with limited and disappointing options for breakfast.
Facilities
5.0

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The seamless switching from grid power to the standby generator was a plus. Having breakfast included only for one occupant was a downside. The approximate price compared to other hotels in Victoria Island was reasonable, but the noise from the entrance and generator was a bit bothersome. The second room was acceptable, although I missed having a balcony and the requested shower wasn't available.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms were decent, but the noise from the entrance and generator was a bit disruptive. The seamless switching operation was impressive, and the second room met my expectations, although lacking a balcony.
Service

The service overall was good. The staff was friendly and eager to assist. However, some aspects were lacking, such as a mixed attitude and focus on tips.
Location
8.0
The location was convenient, being on Victoria Island near the business district. Although modern, the hotel entrance felt outdated compared to the lobby and reception area.

The hotel provided a decent stay overall, with some drawbacks like noisy surroundings and unpleasant smell in the shower. However, the service was friendly despite being slow and there were some issues with the attitude of the staff. The location had its highlights but also some cleanliness concerns. The dining experience fell short with stale food, and the facilities were just about average.
Rooms
5.0
The room I was initially given was noisy due to its proximity to the entrance and generator, but the second room provided was acceptable. However, it lacked a balcony which I had requested. The shower had a strong smell, and the amenities were not up to standard. Surrendering my ID for identification was an inconvenience.
Service
5.0
The staff, though friendly, seemed generally passive and slow. There were moments of unserviceable behavior, such as asking for financial favors and refusing simple requests like a teabag. The interactions were not as smooth as expected.
Location
6.0
The location had its ups and downs. It provided a nice and relaxing atmosphere but some areas were dirty with a bad smell. It was suitable for business in Lagos, with easy travel around the island.
Dining

The dining experience was disappointing with expensive offerings compared to higher-rated hotels. The food quality was subpar, consisting of stale dishes that seemed to be recycled daily until finished. Not the best dining experience overall.
Facilities

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were very basic and looked old, with loud music from the bar disturbing my sleep till early hours. There was also a noticeable paint odor in the room, and minor maintenance issues were evident, making it below par for the extra cost. However, the outdoor pool was quite clean, and the Italian restaurant served very good food.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were lovely and spacious, but they had issues with humidity making the floor wet and provided insufficient pillows. The service was a letdown due to a questionable incident with financial matters despite a perfect score, with concerns about privacy and management transparency. The location was ideal for escaping traffic but had cleanliness issues and a noticeable smell. The dining experience was subpar considering the cost of the room. Despite some setbacks, the hotel offered convenient facilities and services.
